SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA is going to be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it is alarmed with regards to the superior range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior amount of clients/beneficiaries here to access SASSA services.

“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The service place created for intervention encounters a superior inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and raise usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
